Alterations & Repairs

I provide alterations & tailoring for clothing & home items, from jeans & everyday wear to curtains, bridal gowns & prom dresses. My studio is fully equipped to ensure the perfect fit, with a heated private fitting room & space for family or friends to join fittings.

All appointments are relaxed & unhurried, giving you time to try on garments before & after adjustments. Whether it’s a simple hem or a special occasion outfit, your items are tailored with care & precision.

Sewing Classes

I offer sewing lessons from beginner to intermediate level, including craft sewing, bag making, overlocker skills & dressmaking. Children’s classes (age 9+) are also available with a parent/guardian present. Lessons are 1:1 or with friends if booked together, plus seasonal workshops throughout the year.

All classes are held in my fully equipped studio with everything provided. Beginner, overlocker & children’s sessions include fabric, & you can choose from set classes or a tailor-made plan to suit your skills & project.

Alterations & Repairs

I work from a purpose-built studio in Mattishall, offering a private, peaceful space with full changing facilities to ensure the perfect fit.

I carry out all types of alterations & repairs, from cuffs, hems, zips & waist reductions to curtains, prom, bridesmaid & wedding dresses. Past projects have even included a classic car roof lining & a retractable gazebo cover.

Beginner Sewing Classes

My entry-level beginner sewing classes are put together to help all new beginners of any age. We cover learning to use a sewing machine, stitch types, threads, needles and fabric types.

We will go over a range of different techniques even French seams and zips. Over 4x 2-hour sessions, you will learn a range of new skills which will enhance your sewing ability and give you the confidence to go on to bigger projects.

A 2 hour session is bookable at £27 per person.

All fabric is included.

Beginner Dress Making Classes

Master basic techniques to help you build on your sewing portfolio. My entry-level dressmaking classes are great for learning about reading patterns, pattern terminology, sizing, drape, threads, needles and fabric types.

Over 4 x 2-hour sessions, you will learn to make a pair of pyjama bottoms from a pattern and a range of new skills, which will enhance your sewing ability and give you the confidence to go on to bigger projects.

A 2 hour session is bookable at £27 per person.

1:1 Sewing Classes

If you already have basic sewing skills and want to advance to intermediate projects, my tailor-made one-on-one classes are the perfect solution.

Each class is designed specifically for you, and I will guide you through any craft or sewing patterns you wish to learn. I offer a wide and continuously expanding selection of patterns and beautiful items that you can create. A 2 hour session is bookable at £27 per person.

Beginner Overlocker Classes

(Overlocker Machines Available For Classes!)

My entry-level overlocker classes are a great way to get hands-on experience of an overlocker. And, you don’t need to own one; I have one here to teach on.

They can help enhance your sewing projects by giving you a professional finish. A 2 hour session is bookable at £27 per person.

Kids Sewing Classes

My entry-level beginner sewing classes are totally adaptable for kids. They are perfect for all beginners of any age. We cover learning to use a sewing machine, stitch types, threads, needles and fabric types.

We will go over a range of different techniques even French seams and zips. A Parent or Guardian will need to be at all kid’s classes. Over 4 x 2-hour sessions, you will learn a range of new skills which will enhance your sewing ability and give you the confidence to go on to bigger projects. Beginner embroidery classes are a great way to learn all the basic stitches from running stitch to chain stitch.

This 2-hour session will give you lots of skills to start your embroidery journey.
